Chocolate Nut-Butter Stuffed Dates

Anyone for a date??

This isn’t really a recipe per se, more that it is a few ingredients put together to make one glorious mouthful of heavenly goodness.

These dates are super straight-forward to make and taste especially good when eaten from frozen (think chewy snickers or mars bar vibes)

Ingredients:

  • Medjool dates

  • Peanut or almond butter

  • 70% dark chocolate

  • Pinch of salt

 Method:

1.       Slit dates length-ways down the middle and remove the pit

2.       Stuff the hollow centre with nut butter of choice

3.       Add a small sprinkle of salt on top to taste

4.       Let harden in the freezer for a few hours

5.       Remove from freezer and cut each date in half (easier bite-size portions)

6.       Cover in melted chocolate

7.       Leave them to set in the fridge

8. Store them in a sealed container in the fridge or freezer and enjoy!
